Caring for Your Mind, Heart & Purpose Every Day ☀️

Issue 8

Reflecting on
World Mental Health Day

Last week, I had the privilege of speaking with the global team at Church & Dwight for World Mental Health Day.

We talked about resilience, growth, and how we can all find light through life’s challenges, both personally and professionally.

What I shared with their team is something I deeply believe:

Mental health isn’t just one day, it’s every day.

Three simple tools I live by:

Movement: motion shifts energy and perspective.

Connection: healing happens in community, not isolation.

Protecting your energy: surround yourself with sunshine people and step back from what drains you.

These small practices are what I return to again and again when life feels heavy. Caring for ourselves is not indulgent, it’s essential.

Grateful for Community, Connection & Purpose 🦋

After so many years in the fashion and communications industry, it’s incredibly meaningful to see how my favorite brands, colleagues, and friends continue to show up to support a cause so close to my heart.

Thank you to Manolo Blahnik and to all who help bring events like this to life in support of Penny’s Flight Foundation and our shared mission to #ENDNF. Your belief in our purpose helps us keep spreading wings—and light—for others.

On Joy & Everyday Tools

People often ask about the small things that bring me joy- one of them is my rebounder (mini trampoline) that I use for both movement and mindset.

It’s become a grounding ritual that boosts my mood and energy every single day.

Closing Note

As this season unfolds, I’m reminded:

It’s not about how long we’re here, it’s about how far we reach.

Find your sunshine people. Protect your energy. Keep spreading your light.

Because when you do, the ripple effect is extraordinary.

With gratitude and sunshine,

Kate
